PARENT NOTICE · VERSION 2026-10-06.1
Your family, your permission.
This notice describes the current limited beta of Garfield ESports, operated by WeldonPC.com, 5829 Turney Road, Garfield Heights, Ohio 44125. Phone: 888-7-Weldon. Contact: weldon@weldonpc.com. Public child enrollment remains closed until the operator completes service and privacy review.
What we collect and why
- Parent sign-in identifier and email, a salted protected PIN, and short-lived authorization sessions to manage the family.
- Government-ID and live-selfie checks through Stripe Identity, when connected. The app does not receive or store document or selfie images. It reads the verified date of birth only to establish adulthood, retains the result, and requests redaction. Enrollment requires confirmation that redaction is complete.
- Parental permission, notice version, and timestamps. Adult identity verification does not establish legal guardianship; the parent also expressly attests to that relationship.
- Each child’s nickname and age (8–17), parent relationship, approved contacts, play limits, optional purchases, saved creations, and play-session history. Use nicknames, never full names, school names, addresses, phone numbers, or passwords.
- Messages submitted for communication. Both participants’ guardians receive a copy in their protected inbox and must approve before either child can see it. Operator review is additionally required for free text. Parent copies are in-app; email delivery is not yet configured.
- Optional one-time precise device location for local visitor eligibility after parental permission. Coordinates are compared with the Census municipal boundary and one-mile allowance, then discarded. Only a decision expiring after 15 minutes is stored. Residency and employment use separate operator review.
- Stripe customer, checkout, subscription, and purchase identifiers. Payment cards and banking information are entered on Stripe, not stored by this app.
Who receives information
WeldonPC?s server stores account and application records. Parent sign-in uses a short-lived email link. The mail service processes the parent email and sign-in message; no child communication is copied by email. Stripe processes verification and payments. Guardians and the operator see submitted messages as described above. Approved contacts see only delivered messages and player nicknames. We do not offer public child directories, advertising, data sales, open voice chat, or third-party social integrations in this beta.
Bug reports and requests
Adults may submit bugs, performance reports, and feature or game requests without an account. We store the category, summary, description, optional page path and device description, timestamps, and administrative handling notes in a private operator inbox. Reports are also sent privately to the operator by email. Do not include children?s personal information or other sensitive details. We do not ask for a name or email. A short-lived keyed network fingerprint limits spam; the feedback database does not retain raw IP addresses. Reports remain until no longer needed for support; contact the operator with your reference number to request removal.
Your choices
You can review records, export your family data, revoke child permission, block a contact or message, and delete each child’s profile from the PIN-protected parent hub. Deleting a child cancels that child’s subscription and deletes linked app data. Revoking consent stops child play and communication but does not itself cancel billing. Use Manage billing to cancel a subscription. Contact the operator for verified parent-account deletion or PIN recovery; do not email ID documents.
Retention and deletion
Messages older than 30 days are removed during account access. Creations and child profiles remain until the parent deletes them. Child play history is retained for up to 90 days and audit records for up to one year; the application removes expired records during account access. Parent unlock sessions expire after 15 minutes. Payment processors may retain financial records under their own policies; deleting app data does not erase records they must retain. Verification images and extracted information are subject to Stripe’s redaction process.
Permission and play
Before creating child profiles, a verified parent must affirm legal guardianship, acknowledge this notice, and consent to these uses. Additional optional location access is requested separately. Memberships cost $4.95, $9.95, or $14.95 per child monthly until canceled. Extra purchases require a parent’s authorization and spending cap; token redemptions do not charge cash. No randomized paid rewards are offered.
Beta limits
Browser location can be inaccurate or spoofed; it is not proof of residency or employment. The first release supports parent-launched child profiles on the family device and turn-taking games, not real-time multiplayer worlds. Operator-only playtesting is available during setup; parents can join their children in family pass-and-play sessions. Community messaging, public enrollment, and billing remain disabled until configured and operationally reviewed. Parents should supervise access to their signed-in devices and keep their PIN private.
